42nd round of Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia held in Geneva
The main focus of the agenda was on the issue of coordinating the oral statement of participants on the non-use of force.

Sukhum. December 14. Apsnypress. The 42nd round of Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia took place in Geneva. The Abkhaz delegation was headed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Daur Kove. The delegation also included Minister Assistant Irakli Tuzhba, Head of the Department for Interaction with International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Artur Gagulia and Deputy Head of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Lasha Avidzba.
  
 The main focus of the agenda was on the issue of coordinating the oral statement of participants on the non-use of force. The sides began to agree and discuss mutually acceptable wording of the text of the statement. As a result of lengthy negotiations, the parties "failed to agree on the final version of the text of the statement. As a result, it was decided to continue working on the text of the statement at the next round of international Geneva discussions.
   
 As part of the second working group they traditionally discussed  humanitarian issues related to freedom of movement, access to education and many other.
  
 The next round of the Geneva discussions on security and stability in Transcaucasia will be held on March 27-28.
