A working visit of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Abkhazia Kan Taniya to the Italian Republic.

The Deputy Minister Kan Taniya accompanied Vito Grittani, Italian diplomat, the founder of ODI - International Diplomatic Observatory, which for 30 years has been working in the field of diplomatic ties.

During the short visit, kan Taniya carried out a number of diplomatic meetings in various Italian cities, including Bari, Capurso, Mather, Trani and Andria.

On February 11 in Bari was held a meeting with the Chief of the Legion Carabinieri Puglia Claudio Virchelli.

On February 12 was held a meeting with the prefect of Bari, Mr. Antonio Annuntsiante, as well as head of the cabinet of the mayor of Bari Vito Leccese and mayor of Capurso Francesco Krudele. The evening of 12 February, the meeting with the president of the Chamber of Commerce Mather Angelo Tortorella, the results of which were given a press conference with local media. According to Mr. Tortorella, Mather was declared the capital of European culture 2019 In this regard, Mr. Tortorella expressed interest in cultural exchange with the Republic of Abkhazia.

On February 13, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia visited Trani and examined the central Cathedral, where it is planned to spend the evening of organ music by known Abkhaz organist Luka Gadeliya dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Pitsunda's church.

The Deputy Minister also visited the administration of Andria, where there was a meeting with an advisor Mayor for territorial marketing Benedetto Mischoscha. It was a cultural exchange with the city of Andria.
